ADVANCED YOUTH THEATRE plays are written for students aged 12 to 16 years. It is important that students have previous stage and acting experience as this is an intensive extension camp for those that genuinely wish to grow as individuals and explore their full potential.

Plays are written so that every student receives a role with dialogue that will extend their potential.  Small casts ensure that the cast have the time to fully explore the narrative and that each student receives individual tuition and help develope their role.

Murder Mystery is a contemporary black comedy that is a play within a play, and currently a work-in-progress.  This is a wonderful opportunity for young people to be part of the script writing process as they will be work-shopping the script (by Cassandra Linares) before rehearsing and performing it under the guidence and direcion of Paul Percy.

Play Synopsis

Murder Mystery is a contemporary black comedy that is a play within a play. It is written by Cassandra Linares, one of Acting Antics Advanced students, and will be work-shopped and performed by the advanced troupe in January 2018 under the direction and guidance of Paul Percy. This is a wonderful opportunity for our young actors to not only perform a new work but to be part of the developmental process.
