SENIOR YOUTH THEATRE is for students age 7 to 12 years.  Students do not need any previous stage or acting experience, however, they do need to be prepared to contribute, work hard and have loads of fun.

Youth Theatre is NOT a holiday care program, it is serious theatre for those that are keen to learn and be on stage.

Plays and musical plays are written so that every student receives a meaningful role with dialogue.  Roles are designed so that those with more confidence and experience can be extended, while those less confident can be nurtured.

Play Synopsis

The Jewellery Heist is the prequel to the very popular plays, "Rosie" and the sequel, Mr. Pinstripe. It's Chicago in the 1920s and its the beginning of prohibition and the mobs are taking over the town. Fast Eddie, a small time gangster with big plans and an even bigger ego, wants to break into the big time, so joins up with Jimmy the Gentleman, a jewel thief with scruples! What could possible go wrong when you've got a good brain, a fast hand, and Fat Eddie to back you up? Not much until you come up again Rosetta and her Chicago mob of gorgeous but tough ladies.
