YOUTH THEATRE - SENIORGo Back Enrol Now

Program: YOUTH THEATRE
Program Group: SENIOR View Synopsis

SENIOR YOUTH THEATRE is for students age 7 to 12 years.  Students do not need any previous stage or acting experience, however, they do need to be prepared to contribute, work hard and have loads of fun.

Youth Theatre is NOT a holiday care program, it is serious theatre for those that are keen to learn and be on stage.

Plays and musical plays are written so that every student receives a meaningful role with dialogue.  Roles are designed so that those with more confidence and experience can be extended, while those less confident can be nurtured.

Play Synopsis

Bah Hum Bug is set in the LMA (Leave Me Alone) Retirement Home, a place where those who were once rich and famous but are now old, grumpy, bossy, vain, forgetful or eccentric retire! Join Dr. Troy, Sister Grimsby & the nursing staff as they prepare for the arrival of celebrity TV presenter Tina Talkalot and her sidekicks Taffy & Toots for the interview of the year. Everyone is so excited! What could possibly go wrong? But of course they hadn’t counted on cleaners, Jose and Cactus, or Vera, the forgetful tea lady, getting in on the action.
